Will the Worcester Bosch Greenstar 24Ri be suitable for my home?

Controls

Worcester Bosch offers the standard boiler controls on the boiler itself for controlling temperature output and timing capabilities. Your system should also include a hot water cylinder thermostat and programmable room thermostat so that you can set temperatures and schedules for your heating. The slight drawback with this boiler is the lack of compatibility with Worcester Bosch’s smart thermostat, the Wave. Alternatively, you can still opt for the Nest thermostat which is compatible with heat only Worcester boilers.

The Nest is a highly intelligent thermostat that allows you to schedule your heating, monitor energy use, and remotely switch your heating on and off while you’re away from home if you have a working internet connection. The smartphone app will also track your GPS location via the app to switch on your heating when you’re on your way home. If you’d prefer a simpler digital thermostat, the Greenstar Comfort may be a better option.

Size

The Worcester Bosch Greenstar 24Ri is ideal if you’re looking to fit your boiler into a kitchen cupboard. This boiler, in particular, is compact at only 600x390x270mm. Despite the boiler being suitable for small to medium-sized homes, remember that you will also need to consider the extra space needed for a hot water cylinder and loft space for a large water tank.

Warranty
