Can I have support for alternative accommodation?
Should your home become uninhabitable for more than 48 hours following a visit from one of our engineers, we will pay up to £200 (including VAT) towards alternative accommodation. This is subject to your claim limit. This applies to claims made for plumbing, security, pests and drainage. Please check your Terms and Conditions for further details.
How do I make a claim for alternative accommodation?
You can easily make a claim by filling out all the required information here. If you are eligible for reimbursement, payments will be made directly to you. To verify your eligibility, please refer to your policy. All payments will be made within your claim limit.
What if I make an alternative accommodation claim and I'm not eligible?
If you submit a claim and are not eligible, we will notify you by email and explain the reasons for the rejection. In such cases, we will not make a payment for alternative accommodation.
Alternative Heating – FAQs
Can I have support for alternative heating?
If your domestic central heating becomes inoperable due to parts being required and it will take more than 60 hours to obtain them following our engineer’s diagnosis, we will pay a fixed benefit of £40 towards alternative heating. Please check your Terms and Conditions for further details.
How do I make a claim for alternative heating?
