What does your central heating plan cover?

Our Your Heating plan includes everything that’s in our boiler plan plus protection for your entire central heating system.

 

That means your boiler, flue and controls are covered and you get a free annual boiler service.

 

But also, we’ll safeguard your radiators, valves, pipework (both gas supply pipe and pipes between radiators and cylinders), hot water cylinders and more to make sure you aren’t left in the cold.

 

We will also cover immersion heaters and their wired-in timer switches.

What’s not included in your central heating plan?

Our Your Heating plan does not cover repair damage caused by limescale, sludge or other debris if our heating engineer has advised you that you need to carry out repairs or a power flush.

Is an annual service included in Hometree's Your Heating plan?

Yes, an annual boiler service is included as standard in our Your Heating plan.

Annual services provide an opportunity for a Gas-Safe registered engineer to inspect your boiler.

 

Maintenance ensures optimal boiler lifespans and performance.

 

Ultimately, it’s cheaper – and less stressful – than replacing a broken boiler.

 

At Hometree, we carry out boiler servicing in the summer. This keeps our engineers free to attend emergencies in the winter.

 

We cover gas boiler types of all ages and from all makes and manufacturers. During your annual boiler service, your engineer will complete visual checks and internal tests.

What happens if I need to raise a claim?

If you’re a Hometree customer, book online here. We’ll arrange for an engineer to evaluate your system and find the problem, in some cases we may provide replacement parts if the issue can’t be repaired.

What’s the difference between Hometree boiler, central heating cover and home cover?

If you’re deciding on the cover you’d like to get for your home, it’s important to know the difference between a boiler cover and central heating cover and home cover.

 

The Beyond the Boiler plan does not cover repairs to your boiler and controls but covers your plumbing, drains, electrics, home security and pest issues. If you choose Beyond the Boiler plan with an annual boiler service you will have an annual boiler check carried out but repairs to your boiler and controls are not included. The Your Home Plus plan includes everything in the other two plans, plus cover for your gas boiler and controls.
