Our core plans usually include cover for repairs to gas boilers, flue and controls but we know there are customers who have a new boiler under warranty, a non-gas boiler or have other arrangements in place for their boiler. That’s why we’ve created our Beyond the Boiler plans which cover all the other areas of the home outside of the boiler.

We offer Beyond the Boiler cover with an annual boiler service for customers who have a new gas boiler under warranty and want to keep the warranty valid by having a service each year.

Our Beyond the Boiler plans cover your wider central heating, plumbing, drains, electrics, home security and pest issues. If you have a gas boiler you want to have checked every year you can add an annual boiler service

You will also benefit from access to our UK based 24/7 helpline, and in the event of a breakdown we will book a local engineer to come see you ASAP.

An annual service is an opportunity for a gas-safe engineer to check your system is running smoothly and flag any issues that might be developing. Most boilers last between 10 to 15 years and regular maintenance is advised by manufacturers to ensure optimal performance. Remember, servicing your boiler is less expensive than replacing it. Hometree conducts all our boiler servicing in the summer months to ensure our engineers are free to attend emergencies in the winter months.

Annual boiler services are included as standard in our core plans like Your Home Plus or you can choose Beyond the Boiler with an annual service. We cover gas boiler types of all ages and from all makes and manufacturers. During your annual boiler service, your engineer will complete visual checks and internal tests.

The Beyond the Boiler plan does not cover repairs to your boiler and controls but covers your plumbing, drains, electrics, home security and pest issues. If you choose Beyond the Boiler plan with an annual boiler service you will have an annual boiler check carried out but repairs to your boiler and controls are not included. The Your Home Plus plan includes everything in the other two plans, plus cover for your gas boiler and controls.
