Call-out-fee
This is the excess which you pay under the insurance policy. You pay this once per fault. You can select a £0, £60 or £95 call-out fee option. The higher the call-out fee you select, the lower the monthly or annual price you pay.

Do I need to have a specific EV charger?
We cover all AC EV chargers with an output of up to 22kW.
What’s is covered under home electrics?
Our home electrics insurance covers your mains electrical wiring system, broken sockets and switches, breakdown of the fuse box, doorbells and smoke alarms that are connected to the wiring as well as outside lighting that is fixed to your home/outbuildings and fitted less than three metres above ground.
When will my cover start?
You can start making claims 14 days after your policy start date.
What type of damage is covered in my plan?
Our EV charger insurance covers operational faults caused by accidental damage, fire, faults or vandalism. Our cover also includes theft of the EV charger unit or cable from your home.
What if my EV charger is damaged beyond repair?
We will offer you a replacement unit worth up to the value of £2,000 if your EV charger is deemed beyond economic repair and under 10 years old. If your EV charger is 10 years or over, we will make a contribution of up to £250.
