Billing
Call-out-fee
This is the excess which you pay under the insurance policy. You pay this once per fault. You can select a £0, £60 or £95 call-out fee option. The higher the call-out fee you select, the lower the monthly or annual price you pay.
We do not charge call-out fees for your service visit.

The annual heat pump service will be conducted by a trusted engineer to inspect your heat pump and heating system to ensure all are in good working order. You will receive a post-service report as part of maintaining your manufacturer warranty requirement for annual heat pump servicing.

Plumbing
Repairs to your plumbing like burst pipes, a leaking stopcock or a broken flush. Includes all parts and labour.
Drains
Unblocking blocked drains, sinks and blocked toilets. Includes all parts and labour.
Home Electrics
Repairs to mains electrical system including fuse boxes, light fittings, light switches, smoke alarms and doorbells. Includes all parts and labour.
Home Security
Boarding up of doors & windows to secure home, gain access, replace lost keys & repair external locks.
Pest Control
Treatment for house/field mice and brown/black rats inside the home – and wasps & hornets inside & outside (garden, outbuildings or garage).

What does Hometree Heat Pump cover include?
Hometree Heat Pump cover protects key parts of your air source heat pump system, including the outdoor unit, indoor unit, controls, condenser, compressor, fan and pump. It also includes free replacement if your heat pump is deemed beyond economical repair and is under 7 years old.
What’s included with Heat Pump Plus cover?
Heat Pump Plus includes everything in standard Heat Pump cover, plus protection for your central heating, plumbing, drains, home electrics, home security and pest control. Bathroom items and household appliances are not included.
When will my cover start?
You can start making claims 14 days after your policy start date.
Will my heat pump be replaced if it can’t be repaired?
If Hometree determines your heat pump is beyond economical repair and it is less than 7 years old, it will be replaced free of charge.
Does the cover include radiators and pipes?
Standard Heat Pump cover does not include the wider central heating system, radiators or pipework. However, these are included with Heat Pump Plus cover.
