What is a boiler survey?
A boiler survey is the step between selecting the right boiler package for your home and getting your new boiler installed. The survey checks where your flue is, where the new boiler is going and confirms that the boiler you have selected is perfect for your home and heating requirements before your installation.
Step 1 - Find your boiler
Once you have been through our simple online questions about your home and heating requirements, Hometree will find and recommend the A-grade boiler package right for you.
This package will include everything you need to have your new boiler installed and added extras like a free smart thermostat and chemical flush, all with a ten-year warranty to provide you with peace of mind.
Step 2 - The Video Survey
Once you have selected your perfect boiler package and received your fixed quote, Hometree will conduct your video survey. Our engineer will check where the new boiler is going, that it's the right fit for your home and will take a look at your flue.
During the video call, our engineer ensures they understand the exact requirements of the job to prepare with the correct equipment for your specific installation. This leads to a seamless and efficient boiler installation. If the initial boiler selected needs to be changed, the price may change.

How is our survey different?
Hometree arranges a boiler survey for you in advance of your installation, but we do these in a different way. We arrange a video call to your smartphone with one of our experienced Gas Safe engineers, rather than the traditional approach of a salesperson visiting your home.
